Aims And Scope

International Journal of Medical Device and Adjuvant Treatments (IJMDAT) is a four-month peer-reviewed medical journal that provides up-to-date results of basic and clinical research (basic research, prevention, public health, pharmacology and pharmacogenomics aspects, treatments, innovative aspects regarding diagnosis, pathology, pre-clinical and clinical experimental studies) related to the development and use of medical devices and adjuvant treatments. The primary mission of the journal is to encourage interdisciplinary discussions and to contribute to the advancement of medicine, healthcare, and wellbeing through the dissemination of advanced knowledge.

Accordingly, the scope of the Journal is to inform the scientific community about all innovative aspects related to the development and use of medical devices, dietary supplements and/or other treatments considered as adjuvants of the traditional medical approach.

Publication and peer review process

IJMDAT considers for publication the following types of articles:

  • Original Articles
  • Brief Communications
  • Reviews Articles
  • Editorials
  • Letters to the editor
  • Short reports / Case reports

Peer review policy

Manuscripts are revised by two or more field experts and, upon acceptance, are published expeditiously, generally within 12 weeks. In the case of articles and studies with a significant public health impact, authors may request Fast Track review for a rapid evaluation, in which case an editorial decision will be made within 2 weeks of submission.
